Everyday start checklist
- Turn on the receiving computer or console.
- Power your boards and other inputs.
- Connect USB devices or enable Bluetooth as needed.
- For Wi-Fi boards, connect the phone to the network that reaches them.
- Open Intent Controller.
- Check the active profile in the home menu.
- Check the output and every board card's status.
- Use Connection or Continue setup for any card that needs attention.
- Release switches and centre sticks.
- Tap Start Mapping.
- Test one action before entering a busy game.
You normally do not re-enter the board's Wi-Fi password, install firmware, or rebuild mappings every time. Those are setup or repair tasks.
If a board's network address changes
- Tap Connection on that board's card.
- Try Reconnect saved board or Find boards on this network.
- Select the same physical board and verify it.
- Tap Save connection.
- Keep its existing mappings and test them.
For an output board, use Change connection in its output settings. Verify the applied identity too if you replaced the board.
If you change Wi-Fi networks
Use that board's network setup to send the new network name and password. After it restarts, join the same reachable network on the phone and find the board again. Repeat for each board that needs the new network.
If you unplug and reattach USB
Reconnect the cable and accept USB access if asked. If the saved device cannot be identified reliably, use Choose USB board and select it again. Check the board name so you do not bind the wrong card to another attached device.
Finish a session
- Use Stop in the app's active mapping screen.
- Check that the game stops receiving held controls.
- Then disconnect or power down your equipment.
The app uses its own active mapping and virtual/Remote Play screens. Do not assume input continues unchanged after moving to an unrelated Android app or leaving the mapping screen. Return to Intent Controller and check the session state.
